???  ??? still trying to figure out the hoffmans method for weighing their gold. must be pretty good system to weigh past  all that black stuff.

looks like there is a special on march 31 named parkers trail. a trip over chilikoot trail across bennet lake and down the yukon would be about 600 miles to commerate his grandfather.  jerry

Awesome!  I heard about something about Parker, Rick and one of the rock truck girls doing some big hike, makes sense as a commemoration for gramps.  Good on him, id love to do an expedition like that.  :)

If you go back a page on this thread you'll see the after show link that jacksongold posted. They cover a little bit of the hiking/canoeing trip and mention a three part series. Lots of snow by the looks of it.  It might be an interesting watch.

Yes it sure does. Except for Dave. I wish Dave and Freddie would go off on their own. I think those two guys leading a crew could do good in the right places.

Good way to spend a bit of time thanks to the links. Thumbs up.

last nights episode was baisicaly a recap of the last 7 years. then a preview of parkers trail. there will be 3 episodes starting next friday. doesnt look too bad. 3 guys and 1 gal in 1 small tent every night. rick snores really bad. parker stinks the worst and the gal farts every 3 1/2 minutes. not sure about the limey photographer. thinking if nobody dies from an accident maybe a strangulation or blunt force thump. only 600 miles to go. what could go wrong?????   jerry

As much as I enjoy watching videos I have a hard time watching this new brand of videos using go pros and selfie stuff.  I find it hard to follow along when the back ground moves around in flashes. Not really motion sickness but just short of that effect.  Maybe I'll have to break it into 15 minute segments.
Thanks for posting the link though.

Not sure if I understand the real motive behind this adventure. Not the best time of the year to be doing it.

I totally agree. I guess that's the only time they could fit it in so it doesn't conflict with their mining but it has probably got to be the most dangerous time of year other than spring break up time.  Nothing frozen up yet to make things solid but yet slippery as hell.  I've hiked for 9 days at a time and there's more than enough challenges but a month would be brutal.  I do assume they have more back up than what they claim though because I'm sure they aren't packing a drone instead of food but a lot of shots are taken from either a drone or chopper.
